CPR\nHLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel (LVR) are nationally recognised units of competency that provide you with the critical knowledge and hands-on skills to respond to an emergency involving a live low-voltage (LV) electrical panel. You will learn how to identify life-threatening situations quickly and use CPR techniques to sustain life until professional medical help arrives.\n\nAccredited Units of Competency\nOn successful completion\, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for:\n\n\n	UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel\n	HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation\n\n\nPrerequisites\n\n\n	HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a prerequisite for UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel and is included in this course\n	To enrol in LVR only\, you must submit current evidence of HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation at enrolment for a Credit Transfer\n	Note: You must have the physical ability to perform at least two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor\n\nBook Now\n\n  \n\nWhat You’ll Learn\nUpon successful completion of this course\, you will be able to:\n\nLVR \n\n\n	Understand the specific hazards of live LV equipment in electrical environments\n	Conduct risk assessments and apply controls\n	Inspect and use rescue kit and PPE correctly and safely\n	Identify voltage\, isolate power\, maintain safe distances\, and follow safety protocols\n	Conduct a live LV panel rescue using approved methods safely\n	Secure the area after the rescue and complete accurate documentation?\n\n\nCPR \n\n\n	Recognise and respond to an unresponsive casualty\n	Perform CPR on adults\, children\, and infants following ARC guidelines\n	Use an AED to deliver a shock safely and effectively\n	Maintain continuous CPR while working with others in an emergency situation\n	Communicate effectively with emergency services and bystanders\n	Complete incident reports and workplace documentation after an emergency\n	Understand the importance of ongoing refresher training to keep your skills current\n\n\nWho Is This Course For?\nThis course is ideal if you:\n\n\n	Work with or near electrical equipment\n	Are a safety observer for electrical work\n	Need to meet workplace or licensing requirements for LVR and CPR training\n	Want the skills to respond to emergencies in the workplace\, at home\, or in the community\n\nBook Now\n\n  \n\nHow the Training Works\n\nTraining Delivery\n\n\n	Delivered in person by a qualified trainer at one of Maxwell Training’s purpose-built simulators or an approved training facility\n	The total course duration includes practical activities and assessments\n	Learn through interactive presentations\, trainer demonstrations\, and realistic hands-on practical activities\n\n\nPractical Activities\n\n\n	Performing CPR on adult\, child\, and infant manikins\n	Operating an AED\n	Managing an unresponsive casualty\, including placing them in the recovery position\n	Checking and using PPE and LV rescue equipment\n	Identifying voltage\n	Locating and isolating electrical supply points\n	Conducting a Dynamic Risk Assessment (DRA)\n	Practising rescues with a mannequin from a simulated LV panel\n	Communicating with others and emergency services\n	Securing the incident site after the rescue\n	Completing workplace documentation such as risk assessments and incident reports\n\n\nAssessment\n\n\n	Knowledge assessment (multiple choice and short answer)\n	Completion of a Portfolio of Evidence including workplace documents such as a Take 5 and Incident Report Form\n	Practical demonstration of a simulated rescue\, CPR and use of an AED\n\nBook Now\n\n  \n\nEntry Requirements\nTo fully participate and stay safe during practical activities\, you must meet the following requirements:\n\nGeneral Requirements\n\n\n	Proof of identity must be supplied and verified on the day of training\n	Minimum age of 14 years\n	Students under 18 years must provide parental consent (unless linked to an employer)\n	You need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) — apply free at www.usi.gov.au\n\n\nLanguage\, Literacy\, Numeracy & Digital (LLND)\n\n\n	Read and complete knowledge questions (basic Year 10 level literacy)\n	Complete basic written reports and workplace documentation such as a Take 5 and Incident Report\n	Follow verbal and written instructions from the trainer\n	Use a digital device (tablet\, smartphone\, or laptop) for assessments\n\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\n\n	Be physically able to move quickly and safely to perform a rescue.\n	Use rescue equipment without assistance\n	Be physically able to perform CPR on the floor for at least two minutes\n	Be able to kneel\, bend\, and perform compressions and breaths effectively\n\n\nGot Any Questions?\nIf you’d like to know more about this course\, entry requirements\, or booking options — or if you feel that you may need support in class — our team is here to help!\n\nCall us on 1300 MAXWEL or email bookings@maxwellrt.com.au and we’ll make sure you have all the information you need. \n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\n\n \n\nEnquire
