Confined Space Standby (Refresher)
This course is designed for experienced personnel employed in operational roles entering and working in confined spaces including acting as a Standby and working with Permit Controls Systems. Students must hold ALL of the following Units to be eligible for this refresher course.

Entry Requirements
To be accepted into the program, applicants must provide evidence of successfully completing the current units of competency outlined above, in the last three (3) years. Evidence must be in the form of a nationally recognised qualification or statement of attainment.
Physical Requirements
Students must have the physical ability to complete the practical aspects of entering and working in confined spaces and associated tasks. Tasks may include but not limited to, climbing ladders whilst maintaining three (3) points of contact, being suspended in a full body harness and crawling through confined spaces.
Demonstrating Competency
On successful completion of the course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. Students will receive recognition of refresher training for the units of competency they have been previously issued.

Entry Requirements

Language, Literacy and Numeracy
Due to previous successful completion of all units of competency offered in this program, completing a language literacy and numeracy assessment is optional.
